Airport Day Survival Pack

my best friends are adopting a baby from Korea. He should be coming over this month. As they are not able to get him in korea, the first time they will see him is at the airport when he is brought to USA by a transporter. We are hoping to make this day VERY special. I am planning on packing an "airport day survival pack" for their baby shower. A few things I have in mind so far are Buttons that say "Mom", "Dad", "Big Sister", "Grandma" etc. Some snacks, a few magazines, a couple of diapers, disposable camera, confetti. Any suggestions on what else I can put in there?

I'd avoid the confetti. (The baby will be jet lagged and scared as it is.) I'd also recommend a little selection of baby medicines, tummy medicine, teething medicine, Baby Tylenol, maybe even a thermometer. And a little toy or rattle! You're a good friend!

I would recommend lots of binkies (pacifiers). We too picked up our girls because i had 2 year old quads at home so it was just more practical. We lost 7 binkies in the airport, maybe it was just me because we had so many little kids with us but i know they can always use the binkies later anyway.

Also maybe a onesie and some diapers if you know what size the baby will be when they pick him up. McKennlie came home with a bit of a fever (probably just from the long flight, as she was fine the next day) and she did throw up all over herself on the way out of the airport. i hadnt packed any extra clothes and she was hot but one of the moms who was also picking up a baby on our daughters' flight had an extra onesie and we threw that on over her diaper and she rode home in that on the car ride home (our girls came home in june and they were dressed in pants and long sleeves so that might have also been why she was so hot)

A korean dvd with music? It might calm him down on the ride home if he is upset (assuming your friends don't speak Korean )
