Visa Approval-she's coming home!!!!
We found out Monday that Nina's was issued on Thursday! We are waiting for the travel call which should be in a day or two!!!!!
What should I buy as far as food? On her baby well visit in Dec(she was 10 months old)they said she is eating rice, squash, crackers, bread etc. I do have two other children so I know I shouldn't be freaking out about this but -what do I feed her? What about formula/milk? Will the escort give us some of her formula or do we just buy some here? I am planning on calling the International Adoption Pediatrcian we used when we received her file, but wanted to hear what worked for you all also. I am so excited I feel like throwing up- all the time! Thanks in advance!

FINALLY! Ya-hoo!
Nolan did really well with Cheerios and those little Gerber cereal-like treats. Also, I would start with rice cereal and stage 1 baby food to see how she tolerates it. She'll probably be fine with stages 2-3 too, as well as your own pureed food, but you may want to take it slowly at first. And of course, keep white rice on hand, as well as some rice crackers since it may be similar to what she is used to. Does she have some teeth already? Typically the babies are sent with a couple of bottles and formula for the trip. Nolan came home with enough formula to last at least a week or 2, and we slowly mixed in Similac as his Korean formula dwindled, so as not to upset his stomach. This worked fine, no problems. I imagine your pediatrician will recommend she stay on formula until her 1 year-old check up. I am so happy for you and your family! Congratulations! Amy

Happy for you
Congratulations on your new little one. What a blessing to bring a child into the home. I can tell she will be raised by loving parents, and a great home. Are you traveling to Korea to get her?
