We Received Our Referral For A Baby Boy
We are so excited and thrilled. Our son is six months old and absolutely beautiful. For all of you out there waiting, it took about six months to get our referral after we officially got on the 'list'. We started at number 15. Hopefully that gives everyone an idea of how things are rolling.
Does anyone have any advice about the time from referral to travel???? I'm hearing three months but am sooooo hopeful it will be earlier than that! Thanks everyone,....waiting new mom.

Congratulations on your son!
How exciting! We are actually in Korea today getting our son
 - it took 10 weeks exactly from the day we received the referral until the day we got the call to travel! I hope the time goes quickly for you!Keep us posted!!! Did you get a picture of him? Rejoicing with you!!!

Mom to bio dd - age 16 -  Mom to adopted ds - age 10 - Waiting to adopt #3 from South Africa December 2005 - Began Homestudy May 2006 - Homestudy approved -  June 2006 - Profile in South Africa July 2006 - waiting for a referral!!!!!! Nov 2006 - Referral - it's a boy!!!!  Dec 27th - leave for SA! the countdown begins.... January 22nd - Home in Canada with new baby boy.

Last year, we were exactly 2 months but it is running slower now (sorry). It really depends on your state CIS and your Korea agency...also, it is holiday season so that slows things down in Korea a bit.
With any luck you won't get caught in end of the year quota and your little boy will be home by Christmas. Even with delays, I think most travel is running around 3 months these days!

I'm not sure how long travel time is now, but I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

We are sitting at 3 months today, found out from USCIS our I600 should be approved next week. We are praying like mad for Oct. travel call. Hope it goes crazy fast for you!

Congratulations!!!! It took us about three months before we received the travel call. Hopefully your call comes sooner rather than later.
