We're officially on the waitlist!!!
We are #21 on the waitlist for our agency for a boy from Korea. I can't believe it. It's really going to happen! Our expected referal timeframe is about May of 2007. So far away...and yet so soon, too!!!

Waiting is tough for me, I have to say. I started cross-stitching again. We also put together Alex's nursery and playroom. And, of course, dragged DH to baby stores every weekend.

Congratulations! I hope you have a smooth experience.

Waiting is definitely the hardest part. You get the picture of this sweet baby and you just want to bring him/her home RIGHT NOW, but you can't... Fortunately, we have had lots of prep to do with this being our first baby (yeah, I've been dragging DH to the baby section of stores a lot, too). We are also partway through a DIY construction project that we started before we began the adoption process, so we have been working hard to get that completed before our daughter travels. Just find anything that will keep your mind and your hands occupied and that will help a lot.
