How many of you are sending your child(ren) to Korean Cultural Camp this year?
We are sending our two to a local camp that is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. We didn't get to attend with Ryan last year because he got chicken pox from the vaccination one week before camp so this is his first year at camp along with Katie. Our camp has family day on the last day of camp where you can eat Korean food prepared by women from a local Korean church, listen and sing camp songs, watch skits and dances done by different ages and more. The younger kids get their feet wet with the Korean culture and food (my oldest will be having his favorite Korean food--man doo or mandu). Ryan will ask for it at least once or twice a week (I really need to learn to make them!!!). My youngest hasn't had meat yet (we're still trying to get her used to fruits and veggies). The older kids learn the Korean language, learn how to play the drums, learn how to dance, and more. My parents are even going with us to take a ton of pictures and perhaps even video of our two kids at camp and the other campers. I'm really excited about having the kids go to camp this year and meet other parents both local and not so local. Anybody else doing the Culture Camp thing?? Jen

We'll be at MuJiGae too!
We went last year for the family day, just 2 days after CJ came home. We really enjoyed it, but CJ slept through it.

Planning to come up for the Rising Stars thing on July 1. That's in the morning. I didn' t catch the Family Day thing until I saw it mentioned here. What's the program? Can/should we do both?

Sean, the Family day thing is in the afternoon, (or all day on Sat?) It's all in the same area & we plan on sticking around to see everything.
