I know I asked this question awhile back, but I can't find the tread. we just brought home a baby boy from Japan with IR4 visa. I know its not Korea adoption but I think the situation is the same since you have to finalize Korea adoption in US. I am particularily interested in finalizing the process in CA. For CA, how many post placement visits required from SW? since the adoption was not finalized overseas, this is not consider "readoption" is it? We did this adoption almost independently on overseas side, but the agency who did our HS said our case will not be readoption and treated as a regular adotion which requires once a month visit by SW for a few month. I was told it can take about 6 month in CA.
If anyone in CA can share the info, I am very grateful. thanks.
