Trying to choose an agency
After two years of unsuccessful domestic adoption (and having our hearts broken twice), my wife and I are seriously considering international adoption. We find ourselves drawn to Korea and China and are beginning our search for an agency. We live in East Tennessee (Knoxville) so our choices will be out of state. I'd appreciate any recommendations and a quick reason for the recommendation. Thanks.

Hey there!

I don't know any agencies in your area, but I thought I'd welcome you to the boards. I hope things go much smoother for you now. Have you looked at adoptkorea.com? they have a state by state listing of all of the agencies licensed to work with Korea.

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you that replied to my post. Your information was very helpful and I think we are on our way down the road to international adoption. Incidentally, every PM I received recommended the same agency. That's pretty strong in my book. Thanks again and I'm sure I'll be asking more questions in the coming weeks.
