Talking It's a snow day!

I finally got to say "I don't want to bring the baby out on these roads!", and because I work for my sister, sorry, "volunteer" (work implies a real paycheck), she was in complete agreement. She's not risking her favorite niece
Anybody else out there home today?
How 'bout some updated pics / first snow storm pics?

Here's my little peanut discovering the taste of snow!
Millie

She's a cutie pie.

Not too much snow here on Long Island...mostly rain. My school district is closed today, but has no effect on me since Ryan is only 2!! No snow pics of him yet, but he does enjoy eating snow also!!!!

I still feel obligated to go to the gym Too bad there wasn't more snow on the ground!!!

We are snowed in here in the midwest too! It's bitterly cold as the weather people say. On top of that, Maddox has an awful cold. He was up all night long! I sure hope he gets a nap today so I can rest. It's our first cold. His little cheeks look like a hooker put blush on them. Poor guy.

Cady looks absolutely adorable. I love the mitten/hat combo. I think she may turn out to be a snow bunny!

We're staying in due to snow, too, and even my DH is home. Good thing because although I pride myself on being very handy I cannot get the darned snowblower to start, no matter how hard I try. I usually resort to shoveling.

Harrison has a bad cold, too. I am developing a serious hatred of all things snot and snot related. Yuck. And why can we send men to the moon, but we can't seem to make an aspirator that works? He is sporting the 'hooker rouge' look too! I hope both he and Maddox feel better soon so they can go play in the snow!

Cady is, truly, very adorable in that hat!

I'm not happy that Harrison is sick, but it's comforting to know that the red cheek look is normal. On top of the cold Maddox is getting three new teeth (top two and another on bottom).

Millie,
Keep Cady away from the boys. Apparently they are germ buckets right now !

Well, my little girl is a germ bucket too! I was hoping that the cough last night was because I let the humidifier go dry, but I was wrong. Cady, too, has hooker cheeks & the snot strings going from her nose to her binky are really long & seriously gooey! And no, nothing fits in those little button noses! Although she will wipe my nose for me, I'm not allowed to touch hers. She prefers my shoulder. (insert groan here)

Yes, I asked for a baby, & no I would not trade a minute of it! Snotty hugs & all.

Millie

Cady is so beautiful!

I am so jealous of you guys! I live in sw Arkansas and we haven't even seen one single flake!! It's just not fair!!! It's miserably cold here though. If we're going to freeze our booties off anyway, we should at least be able to do it in the snow!

I agree with that Casey!!! There's no point in being cold if you can't go out & play in the snow. Too bad there's not a snow ball icon thingy, or I'd send one to ya! Cady has even figured out the basics of snowballs. She was on Daddy's side when he started a snowball fight, & she started throwing snow at me too! Her's were a lot easier to dodge than Daddy"s!!
