My cheeks hurt from smiling!!!
We just got our internet service back - thanks for posting my good news, Millie! I am so excited to meet our son - I don't know how I'll get through this weekend! What a day this has been...I will never forget the sound of my DH's voice as he told me Harrison is on his way!

Thank you all for sharing in our excitement! It's really hard to relax right now - I am so wound up with anticipation! Quick question...how long are bottles 'sterile' once they've been sterilized? I have the kind that keeps the nipple sterile with a cap for both sides (until you break the seal to make a bottle). I suddenly feel like such a novice!

Hi Sara!
I boiled everything the afternoon before we picked up CJ. Since then, I've just been washing them in really hot water. I think, even if you boiled them now, that you would have killed the really nasty things that might be living on them, that they would be fine. Remember, dirt & dog hair happens, so just do your best.  Just think what kind of nasties are probably on your remote control that Harrison will be chewing on shortly! For the weekend - go grocery shopping for the next 2 weeks now. Make some dinners you can freeze. Or get all the delivery numbers together! Go for a nice romantic dinner - just the 2 of you. Double check the baby proofing. Sleep as late as you can. Gather change, $1's & $5's for tolls. Pack a varriety of toys to entertain him on the way home. h gjgbv gf That's CJ saying she wants to meet Harrison too!  Talk to ya later! Millie & CJ

I can't help with the bottle question. I am in such need of a taking care of baby book!! How old is Harrison? Only 4 more days

I actually have a busy weekend planned: Shopping tonight for a shower gift, then to a 'girl's night in' for the bride-to-be (my best friend's little sister). Saturday is the bridal shower. Sunday we'll grocery shop and cook meals to freeze (GREAT idea!!), gather any last minute baby items, and we might go to a concert at SPAC. Monday we'll spend panicking that we're totally unprepared for parenthood  , and then we're going out for dinner. Suddenly it feels like a long time until Tuesday! Sherry - Harrison will be 6 months old on August 13th, So he's just over 5 months.
