My children are from Korea. My son has been home almost a year and my daughter should be home in the next couple of months. We are in Milan. I do know of another family with a Korean daughter that are from Monroe - I'll let them know about this as well!

Hi Jen and Holly,

I am so glad you both responded!!! In my first post, I have a website posted for a yahoo group MMIF (Monore MI International Families). If you guys want to be part of the group, the easiest way to keep up with it is through that yahoo site. That way, you can check for the calendar of events, contribute ideas, etc. I just started this today, so I am open to any suggestions!!

I look forward to meeting both of you! We have spring fever so bad, maybe we should make the first outing soon!!!!

I work full time, so hopefully we can do outings on weekends? So many groups I've looked into are all stay at home moms so they do stuff during the workday.

Hi Holly,

I was hoping to try doing things at various times/days of the week. I just started this yahoo group this week, so I am open to all contributions. I just saw the need for something like this group in our area - everything is either north of Detroit, or in Toledo. From here, I was just going to see what kind of interest there was in the group, and go from there!
