It's A Boy
We got our call today about 3:00. I can't believe how cool I was. I thought I'd be a rambling idiot. His Korean name is Kim, Dong (rainbow) Hoon (teaching--I'm a teacher!!). We will name him Joshua Conner. He was born 6/17/04. He was a little under five pounds and gained weight wonderfully. He had a case of pneumonia after he was born, but is doing well. The birthmother smoked some the first three months, but supposedly didn't drink any alcohol.
We'll get our packet with his picture and medical information tomorrow. We hope all is well when we take the information to the pediatrician. I can't believe that this day is finally here. I hope for a Christmas arrival, but I know that the timelines can vary greatly.
