Amerasian Babies

Hello Everyone. This may be a silly question but wondered if any of you could answer it. I wondered if any Amerasian babies are available for adoption in Korea. The reason I thought of this was that my friend's brother is in the Army and is stationed in Korea. In all the literature I've come across about Korean babies that are available for adoption, I've never read anything about there being any babies of mixed lineage. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks.

I'm sure they do occasionally get some babies that are Amerasian but probably not many.

Occassionaly there are Ameriasian babies that are adopted there was one on Bethany Board that I know of for sure, recently. It is however not like it used to be. When i was adopted from Korea there were many of us, but that was over 33 years ago. I also know of some ameriasin babies that have been adopted on the domestic side.

I am an 'AmerAsian'

Hello Julians mother, (and everyone) I'm Janis from Holland and I am born in S-korea. My mother was a Korean woman and my father a (light negro) American, so I'm mixed. I've always wondered if there are more people of the same 'mix'. I do only know of two more. One of them is my brother (he is also adopted but he's not my biological brother). But I guess there must be much more people of this 'mix'
