I'm back...and feeling like a newlywed!!

And the boys, well they of course had a great time with the grandparents. Ate lots of junk food and were totally spoiled. Neither of them cried and each time DH and I called to speak to them they were very happy and telling us all kinds of wonderful stories, which put our minds at ease. Of course, the morning I dropped the boys off at my mom's house, I'm pulling out of the driveway and my oldest son (almost 5) yells "Don't forget what I look like Mommy and remember how much I love you." Well, needless to say I cried all the way home to Connecticut. But now, even the time spent with the boys over the last few days has been extra special and more wonderful than ever.

I have come away from our first vacation without the children being a true believer, that to make a happy family, there must be quality time for mom and dad, too. My DH and I have vowed to make sure we get at least 2 "date nights" a month and we would not hesitate to take a few days again (maybe a once a year long weekend)! Well, that's my trip. I'm hoping to see some really good new being posted over the next few weeks for all of you waiting. It's good to be back!

We have tickets to Oaklahoma for July 1st and you would think we're going to be gone for a week rather than just an evening! We're so excited.
Anyway, I'm glad you had a good time!
