My name is Doug Hogue currently living and working in the Boston, MA. area. I am an adoptee looking for my birth parents.



A fellow adoptee wrote me "Of all my experiences while living and working in Kentucky , one that continues to be the most rewarding is my involvement with others who are searching for their birth family and their Kentucky roots. I am reminded of the first thing my Birth Mother said to me was a tearful “I didn’t think this day would ever come” and my response to her was “neither did I”. I’m glad I searched and I’m very thankful for all the help I received as I traveled that broken road that took me back to her and my roots."

I was born on April 25th 1958 in Perry County Kentucky to Mae Fugate and given the name Carl Fugate. I also believe that Mae Fugate was born December 2nd 1935 to Emma Walker Fugate and Jess Fugate.
