Thank you to Denise, my adoption search angel, for helping me locate my birthdaughter (well, her father at least). I acted impulsively and called the him lastnight and obviously caught him completely off guard. I was literally shaking and I am sure he was quite unsure about what to say to me. I felt a sense of guilt for intruding on their lives as he seemed quite nervous. I'm almost certain, given the information he gave me, his daughter is my birthdaughter.

I thanked him, told him I hadn't stopped praying for her since the day I left the hospital, that time does not always heal wounds, hoped she had a wonderful childhood, and asked him to share this with his daughter. I don't know what steps he will take, if any, but it is such a relief to simply know she is alive, healthy, happy, and well.


I believe my dream has finally come true. Thanks again!
