In Kentucky your Birth Cert. Number does not change. Only the volume number. Searh the Birth Record Books at public libabries, find your birth cert # , then there will be 1 volume that contains your orginal infor with birth mother listed & your birth name'
I am not sure how it works but a search angel found my info in just 1 day. |

Good Luck
Your B/c number is on your b/c in the upper right hand corner. THe first 3 are the volume number the rest never change the books do not exist after 1969. Some one figured out that we the adoptees were using them to search but even after that the last set of numbers did not change. 1962-65 are in volume 101. If you were born after 1969 try to find some one that does family trees they will understand the meaning of this code
Good Luck on your search I found my family some were willing to accept me others not so go into this eyes wide open Dana Many emotions will follow you on this search |
