Has Anyone From KY Done the STATE BIRTH SEARCH!!!??
Okay, if anyone on here has gone through this long and drawn process doing the search with the state, please email me. It's been nearly six months and I still have not heard anything.

The state has 6 months from the time the judge signs the order.
Have you done a follow up call to the state to see when it was signed? and what their progress is? Linda www.kyadoptions.com

I have a copy of my order and it was signed on January 6th, 2004. So, July 6th would make it six months. In the packet that the state sent me, it said to please not call and check on the status of your search until 6 months have elapsed. I've paid my money and everything. So now I'm just waiting.
