I can recommend an agency
A lot of you are asking about the agency recommendation.
I can describe our adoption here and those of you interested please pm me and I will give you the agency's name, OK? We brought a girl from Kazakhstan in 2003, She was 6.5 years old. Between the application and out trip to Kaz was 8 months time. When in Kaz we were assigned a driver to take us to the orphanage daily (about 2 hours one way), and also a lady who cooked and served us wonderful dinners. They took us to the supermarket, to the museums and the theaters. Our experience with the agency was extremely positive. We can not say anything negative about it. People are caring and very professional. If we have to go thru this process again we would not hesitate a single minute to use the same agency.

While I'm sure the OP has a great agency I would just warn prospective parents to also look into recent adoption experiences before making a final decision. We adopted in 2005 and 2007 and both agencies we used have changed a great deal since we completed our adoptions.

I very much agree with hml. The agency may have been and still be fabulous, but check into recent travelers.
We are on our second adoption with the same agency. We love them, and are with the same coordinator. The process is just soooooo different now. We still talked with people recently home in order to confirm their overseas experience was good. Waiting to travel for #2!!!
