Oh jumpingfroggy,
I'm so sorry. Sadly, after living in Kaz for three months I'm not surprised this happen (the rescheduling) but I was sooo hoping it wouldn't. Praying still.

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007

Thank you all so much. I haven't heard anything one way or another. Hopefully I'll hear something today, but I'm not holding my breath. I think if things went well I would have heard by now, so I am expecting another delay of some sort.

Well, it's official. There has been another delay. I feel badly for the kids involved. The child I am adopting is 10 years old. It's not like she is oblivious to what is happening. She has had so many people let her down in her life and abandon her, that I hope I don't turn out to be just another in her long list of disappointments. I also have a biodaughter at home who started preparing to share a room after I returned from Kaz. She keeps asking when her new sister is going to get here. I've been honest that when/if the adoption goes through is up to the judges, but I feel horrible everytime she asks.

Oh I'm soooo sorry for the delay and the children involved as well.
I know the waiting has to be incredibly difficult to say the least. Will keep thinking and praying for you all!

Thank you. From what I am hearing it's delays, court, and more delays
 . I understand there is another court date next week. If I am interpreting the information correctly, the issues with mistranslation of my documents have been resolved, but they are arguing over the child's file and if she should really be considered eligible for adoption. You would think they would determine this before the bonding period  . My mother always told me not to pray for patience, because God won't give it to you, he'll teach it to you. I must have forgotten this somewhere along the way, but I'm learning.

I don't blame you for being upset! Your right-they should have made sure of her eligibility before now! That poor girl and poor you :-( I will keep praying for a quick resolution to this.

Well, It looks like I'm going back. I am still not quite sure what's been going on, but I have to redo the original court with a new judge. It's as if the original court and appeal never happened.

I haven't been around in a while so I was so happy to see an update.
Thinking and praying for you and the kiddo you are hoping to adopt. A new court date hopefully is a positive sign, although frustrating I'm sure! Best of luck!!
