Rules About Adopting Multiples in Kaz

I have heard inconsistent answers to this question. What's the real deal: Is it posible to adopt 2 unrelated children on the same trip to Kazakhstan, or can you pick up 2 only if they are siblings? Thanks.

I was in Kaz last fall. Just before I left, the new requirement that only allowed one child to be adopted unless they were siblings went into effect. A couple families I met up with had to choose one of their referrals. Unlike many requirements, regions did not appear to have any discretion in this matter. So unless things have changed, you can only adopt siblings. Good luck.

We are in Astana now and the rules state that if adopting multiple children, they can only be siblings.
