Just had to share with people who understand....we got our I-171 in the mail today! Hurray! I have been obsessively checking it and trying to visualize it appearing and today there it was! Now we just need to get copies notarized of it, get it apostilled, and off it goes with our whole dossier!

Congratulations!
 I am currently waiting for my approval as well.. Can I ask how long it took for your approval to come in from the time you were fingerprinted or submitted your homestudy (whichever you did last)? Jeannine

We were fingerprinted two days before our homestudy was submitted. Our I-171 came in the mail exactly 15 days after our home study was received by INS.
We live in Wisconsin.

Congrats! I remember waiting for ours. I did the same thing. Kept checking the mailbox, getting anxious...

Yay!!
I am so happy for you! That's a milestone to celebrate, getting that in the mail. I well remember the feeling when I got mine for my son last fall - I stood and cried. Suddenly, the whole thing was REAL.
