Aktau is a city in Western Kazakhstan on the Caspian Sea where we have recently adopted our son. There doesn't seem to be alot of adoptions coming out of Aktau, although it is a large city and our adoption has gone smoothly thus far. My husband and mother-in-law are returning in about a week to get our son (we did 2 trips due to children back here at home). I wanted to start a group for the few families that I know of that adopted from Aktau and for those going there in the future.
