Doctor in Almaty?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a western trained doctor in the Almaty area that I could hire to examine my child at the baby house and review the med. records? If so, do you know what the cost is and how far in advance I need to make an appt.?
Thanks!!

We are not using a dr in country, however we are using an IA dr here in the states. We did this when we traveled to Russia in April. We e-mailed her pictures and all the medical information we were given and then we called to discuss everything with her. We will do the same when we travel to Kaz.

We used an IA specialist in the States to examine our kids' medical records while we were in Kaz. We emailed her the information and pictures for the assessment. There are Western-trained doctors at the SOS clinic in Almaty, but I don't know if they would go to the baby house for an examination and I'm not sure if they would be open to that at the baby house anyway. You should probably ask your in-country coordinator that before you make any plans.
