How 'bout a Kaz picture parade?

As I contemplate adoption number two, and think about Kazakhstan as a possible option, I wonder if there are any parents on the forum who would be willing to post pictures of their beautiful children from Kazakhstan? I would love to see them, and I'll bet many others would too. Thanks!!

Every time I try and post a picture it tells me it's too large. So I never have any luck. If someone can tell me how to get around this I would be happy to post a picture of my daughter.

I don't know what the photo size limit is here, but in general if you have a program that you use to download your photos from your digital camera that should be able to help you shrink the files.
What program do you use and maybe someone can help walk you through it.

Or, you could email me the photo, I will shrink it (or them if you want more than one done), and email them back to you?

Here's how I shrink my pictures enough to post them on the forum:

From your Windows desktop Go to Start - Programs - Accessories - Paint

Open the Paint program and then go to File - Open and open the picture you want to post.

Then choose Image - Stretch/Scew.

In the Stretch section I usually type 50% for both Horizontal and Vertical. Once the picture is small enough to fit on the screen in Paint, then it's usually small enough to post here.

Then save the picture with a new name, so you don't lose the original picture size.

Hope this helps. I would LOVE to see your daughter!

How adorable! Thanks for posting, and I hope more people post. We just switched from Russia to Kaz so we continue to wait for this and wait for that... But it lifts my spirits to see their beautiful faces!

What a Beauty!!!! She looks so happy!

I am also going to try to post some pictures of our little munchkin' from Almaty region (Karakastek). :-) Emi was 8 months old at the time of our adoption and is 15 months old now. These photos are pretty recent.

Emi is so beautiful. I love the eyes. (I'm partial to those dark eyes.) She looks so happy to. I think these Kaz children are just truly so happy to have a family who loves them and whole world revolves around them.
Did you live in Almaty the whole time. I loved Almaty, it was a very easy city to live in. After almost 5 weeks in Karaganda returning to Almaty was a dream come true. We left snow and cold and came into spring in Almaty. We got out more because the weather was so nice and plus you could find more american food. (Kaz food was good I thought, but I missed the more americanized food.)

I think that her big dark eyes were what we fell in love with in the very begining. :-) She is a total ham- she loves to goof around and get a reaction out of people. It's very cute.

We did live in Almaty the entire trip (6.5 weeks). We loved Almaty and did a ton of sightseeing, shopping, etc. I still really miss all of the great food!! I think we'll be ready to go back for #2 soon!

Proud Mama Here!

Hello everyone! I rarely have time to get on the forums anymore (now that I have a two year old at home!). However, when I saw this thread I just knew that I had to participate. The little girl in the picture is his 5 year old cousin...whom he adores.

What a cutie. I love the name Ivan!!! I do have a soft spot in my heart for blonde haired, blue eyed boys. (My husband is one.) It's nice to see another example of the beautiful children from Kaz.
