Do you know if the local police stations also do the finger-printing there as well?

Thank you in advance!

Yes, most do. Mine does it for free, the next town over you might have to pay $15.00

Unfortunately, I am an expert on this subject.

By the way, babypayne you were saying that nobody posts on this board (although this thread is getting alot of activity!)

I am on the Russia board too, which is very active, so for general info, come on over there! I'm sure no one would mind!

Our local police station would not give me the cards, or did not have them and just would not say.

I was afraid to do it on the print off from the FBI web page. I will call tomorrow the FBI and check to see when they were mailed.

Thanks.

FBI Fingerprints

I live in Montana. Here, both the city police and the county sheriff's office do fingerprints. Both post days and limited hours. They did an electronic machine with the standard FBI form (so no nasty ink to explain all day). I would think that most local governments have this capability. They were very accomodating - seems like these fingerprint clearances are needed for all kinds of jobs and other reasons.

fbi fingerprint cards

Hi there,
We printed the fingerprint cards from the pdf using a white cardstock and had no problems. We already sent them in and got them back, had them apostilled and they have been sent for translation (along with the other new docs we were told to get).

So, it shouldn't be a problem to print them yourselves, just use heavy paper! And our local police office did the prints no problem.

Good luck.
