I am wondering if anyone is happy with their Kaz agency presently? How far along are you in your process? Would you rec. your agency?

We were happy with our agency, with whom we completed our adoption last year.

We were devastated that the travel timeframes for Kaz adoptions have gone up, and had planned on maybe shifting countries next time around (don't want to leave our daughter). But we just found out they are going to provide escort service after the bonding period and court! So, it may be possible to bring home another Kaz baby in the future for us!

Does anyone know how long you are required to stay in kazakhstan?

Including travel, you can count on at least four weeks and quite possibly up to six or seven weeks. There are many factors involved, so each case and region will differ. You can do it in one or two trips. If you do it in two trips, you should count on being gone from home at least three weeks first time around and around ten to fourteen days for your second trip. We're doing it in one trip.
