Does anyone have information on baby house #1 in Almaty?
A 3 year old girl named Aigul lives there and we really love her. I was hoping I could get a glimpse of what it is like and if anyone has interior photos I woud love to see them.

We adopted from BH# 1 in Almaty.....twice. Everyone there, is so nice and the Assistan director " Louisa " is awesome....she loves all the kids like hers.

We adopted a 13 months old girl at the time in April 2002...now 28 months old. Also adopted a 4 year old boy in February 2003.

The orphanage is a great condition and the caretakers are nice, also the doctors at the orphanage are very caring.

My son was in the 3-4 year old group and in his group was only one girl. I have a few pictures of his group. I don't know if the girl I met is the same girl are you talking about.

Hi!!

We adopted three children from BH#1 in 2001. I completely agree with Cora's statements about the baby home. It was old, but clean. The staff was friendly and they truly care about the childern. They are quite protective of them.
