Hi everyone. This is my first visit to the site. I just received a phone call from one of my kids saying they received a letter from SRS, (Kansas) asking for my address and phone number. Well, I entered the phone number they wanted me to call in google and it is from the office of Adoption Records and Search Requests. Ya see, I adopted out a precious, beautiful little girl in 1975. Guess she is looking for me! Here is my delimia. There is nothing more I want in life than to connect with her, however, she was conceived because of a very violent act. She is going to ask about her father, as it is a natural thing to do. I don't think I can tell her!

I am just now trying to get my emotions around all of this. It has been such a long time and I gave up hope of her trying to find me. Although the rest of my children know about her, I found it very intrusive for the SRS to send a letter to my other children! What if they hadn't have known?

Anyway, thanks for listening...I'm excited, to say the least. Will have to wait to call the number in the letter for a whole day as it is the weekend....and I'll be calling from Australia, so the time difference puts it off another day! I'll keep you informed.
