Gary,
Try classmates.com or do a search on the internet using one of the people searches. Even though it is her maiden name you may find a sibling or a parent and they can help lead you to her.

Gary - What to do now

Gary,
I found my mom (after getting her name off of my original birth certificate) by going to the local library in the town where she lived (there should be an addres on your birth certificate or court papers) and looked in the city directory for the year I was born. my bio mom used either the same address or the same name. She kind of flopped back and forth, but I was able to trace her for most years.
Also, look in the obituary file at the library. Look for a person with the same last name, then look for her name in survivors. This might give you an idea as to where she is and what her married name might be. Then begin to search that city or name.
Let me know how you do.
Good Luck, it worked for me!!
Kay
