I am trying to find the birth family for a boy born 08/20/1967 in (I think) Kansas City, Missouri but adopted in Kansas City, Kansas. He was called Roger before he was adopted but we don't know if this was the name given to him by his mother or by the home. He had surgery shortly after he was born to correct a hernia. The boy is my adopted brother and he is having medical problems that may be helped by getting a more complete medical history. We don't know much about the birth parents other than young and unwed. The adoption was through the county we believe, not a private agency.

I am doing the search because he is uneasy about what we may find and also fears rejection.
