I was raised Protestant and my husband was of an interfaith marriage although his beliefs are Jewish. We are adopting internationally and our baby will be about a year old when she comes home. We are planning to raise her in a non-denominational way. I would like to do something to have her blessed but we don't want to make her a certain religion. I know that a baptism does just that for Christianity, but I wondered about a Jewish naming ceremony. Any help would be appreciated.
