need volunteer searchers
On yahoo Iowa adoption boardl http://groups.yahoo.com/group/iowasearch/ we are compliling a list of people who can search counties for Polk Directory lookups, school annuals, etc
Can any search angel or adoptee/birthparent volunteer a county/counties??? If we can get every county in Iowa covered it would be so much easier to have lookups done The following counties are covered Black Hawk Butler Bremer Floyd Cherokee Buena Vista Ida Crawford You could go to the library once a week or even once a month Please Help Denise Volunteer search angel

we could use at least 2 searchers in the bigger cities such as Des Moines, Sioux City, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, etc

I live in Sioux City and I can do searches for Woodbury county. Betty

I have two older siblings who were removed due to neglect/abuse in 1972. I was born in October of 1973. I may have younger siblings also. My parents were from a small southern town. I live in Iowa so that could be any where. The adoption agency tells me that they were married.My mom was 27 and my dad was 33 when I was born.
