6/25/69-Boy ISO **/University Hospitals birth

I was born in Iowa City at University Hospitals through
Lutheran Social Services.
I have all the "Background History" on my biological
family but I still don't know what they look like. Do they
look like me? Do they want to know?
I have been the eldest so far but it says I have an older
1/2 sister...Cool!
I'd like to know my real Family Tree.

Do you have your papers from when you were adopted, I recently jut got mine a little over a year ago amother gave them to me and my birth last name was Carnes, I too have been told that I have siblings but at this time I dont know, let me know Iowa is such a hard place to search and it seems like the longer you look the further away you get, if I have brothers and sisters out there, I want to know them and vice versa.
Good luck in searching and I was just wanting to know if you have any info as far as last name how old you bmom was at your birth all that.
Thanks,
diana

no names

No names, just guesses.
Iowa is tuff and even tuffer when you don't live there.
My sister, now, is supposed to send me more info...
She lives in Wisconsin.
Supposedly the laws are loosening up...???
Hang in there.
Rule of thumb...If you were born they cared.
They are wondering just like us.

I agree

Well I have my fingers crossed for you , that your sister has some names, at least a last name for you. Yea, I know what you mean about searching with no last name, I did that for many many years, but I honestly haven't gotten any closer even though I have a last name. Mainly because it has been so many years and she, I'm sure, has gotten married and had a last name change. Honestly, I do have my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Last names

Have you tried websites to crossreference the last name
by location.
There are several people search domains.
We use "Accurint.com" at work, it costs .25 per search.
You maycome up w/ a relative that still lives near by.

YEP

I have tried that and called everyone by that last name and no one seems to know anything, I think it is just the maiden name thing and not sure what town she was from

Search

This is really the first time I have posted my search. I know
its a long shot but its nice to know Im not the only one.
I have had quite a few friends in the same boat but rarely
talk. Do you know anything else about your birth parents?
For instance, I know my mother was a member of Eastern Star.
Have you been looking long? I could spend the $ to open a
dialog between the adoption agency and my ** but Im too
stubborn. Please let me know if I talk too much.
Thanks
Scott
