I was wondering if they're are any people who may have been adopted or lived at the Hillcrest Baby Fold (Orphanage) in Dubuque, Iowa?

My mother was born on 10/5/1946 at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque. She was taken away from her home at age 1 1/2. At age 3 1/2, she was adopted by a family from Walford, Iowa.

Birth Father's Name: James Frampton
Birth Mother's Name: Shirley Frampton
My mother's B/N: Constance Ann Frampton

I know her parents were married at the time she was taken away. James was in the military.

Would like medical information and a reunion ONLY if the family requests it.

Hillcrest Baby Fold was a part of Hillcrest Family Services. I was adopted through them in 1965. I was told in1993 that all records were now kept in Cedar Rapids, Ia. I hope that helps. Good Luck

The phone number is 1-877-437-6333. There web site is www.hillcrest-fs.org/ It looks like they have other locations in Iowa as well. The Cedar Rapids offices are called the regional offices. Good Luck
