Hi all. My name is Nichole and I recently brought home my daughter who is legally blind with ONH Optic Nerve Hypoplasia) strabismus, and Nystagmus home from Guatemala. Anyway I have been asked to do a blog informing people about different types of special needs that people may come across in the search for their forever child. I have a section where I do all the clinical meanings and then also a section where I tell and show, if possible, real life experiences with these special needs. This is a brand new site and I have only done one real life experience. But I the way I feel about it is that if people are aware and see how much of a life these children can have with the right attention then we may find more homes for special needs children in the US and other countries.

Anyway. As I said this is a brand new site, not many coutries are represented, we are looking for people to represent countries, as well as I am looking for people to "feature" or a special need to "feature". The more the merrier. And for example if you have a child with a cleft lip and palate and you see that I have a story of that kid of child being adopted, I still want your story. The more examples the better. So please if you are interested in being or your family being a "feature" for my SN blog. Please feel free to contact me.
