older child adoption-E.S.L. delays vs A.D.D.?
Hello- we have a 8 yr. old son who was adopted from the philippines at 3 1/2/ years old. He spoke no english, and very little of his native language, but understood it. He has had sessions with the Learning assistance teacher 3 to 4 tmes per week since gr. 1, and has a modified daily plan. He is very close to being at expected levels for reading, and math.
