I would like to talk to someone who has recently adopted from Russia about everything from A-Z. Any information/advice would be much appreciated. I am wondering if we should make arrangements to have an independent doctor in Russia give the child a physical, is there any way to get around the 2 trip requirement, how do you find a pedeatrician whose specialty is internationally adopted children and so on. We live in CT and our agency is in MO.

If you are looking for a doctor here to review medical and tape, I recommend Dr. Jane Aronson or Dana Johnson. My agency gave me information on these two physicians and they were wonderful. I had a great adoption experience, my agency Adoption Source really walked us through every aspect and even compiled our dossier and had it apostilled for us. They even gave us a physician in Russia to help evaluate the baby for us.
