Adoption Advice
Hello! My husband and I are considering adopting his 5-year-old nephew from The Gambia. He is an orphan- father deceased and mother has provided written affidavit on permitting him for adoption.
We have already visited with him. We want to find out- is it necessary to be present at the embassy for his interview? What happens after the I-600 is approved? Is that approval sent to the Dakar embassy? Thanks for the help! |

Thanks! I have attempted to e-mail and call the embassy. I have only had 1 reply and it seems no one answers their calls. Just a little confused...
