Attachment to older adoptee
Hi
This is my first time on this site! I want to hear experiences of other people who have adopted older children of a different race. We adopted a nearly 6 year old from an orphanage in another country, he has been with us for 6 years and we are finding it very difficult to love him.....along with being adopted he is a different personality type to the rest of the family. We have two older birth children as well. He doesn't make it easy to love him....what we do just never seems to be enough. Charlotte
