Docs for the USCIS
Hello, My name is stella and I am new. You probably already talked about it but i really need your help here as I am from europe and not familiar at all with the procedures here. My husband is out all the day and I am getting very frustrated. We almost finished our dossier to apply for an adoption in China, they gave us the 800-I to fill up and there is written that we must attach a' certified copy of the documentation showing the final disposition of each incident which resulted in arrest' and my husband was arrested 15 years ago for drinking and driving, it was not a DWI or DUI (Sorry I am not sure how they call it) but a minor arrest. How do I get this document ? is a driving record certified by a notary is enough ? We do not live where he grow up so it makes things even more difficult. Sorry for my english and thank you for reading and helping me.

Your agency will advise you, but you usually must get the document from the police or the court. A driving record is not sufficient.
