I'm new to the forum, and if this post should be in a different category, let me know. My wife and I adopted a boy, Cole, (now 3 years old) from South Korea through Lifelink in Oct. 2005. We live in the Chicago area (Oak Park), and we're trying to find information about groups or organizations that provide support/activities for families with kids adopted from Korea.

Searching the web, we've found CAFFA (Chicago Area Families For Adoption) and the KAAN Conference. Does anyone have any experience with either of these?

We've also seen sites for various Korean culture camps in the Midwest. Has anyone participated in any of the Korean culture camps offered in the Chicago area?

Any other suggestions are appreciated.

I don't have anything to offer. I just thought it was neat that you adopted in Oct. 05 through Lifelink. We adopted in Oct. 05 with Lifelink as well. I remember 5 babies traveling home that day. I think there were only 2 boys that day though. I hope you find some good resources in your area. We haven't had much luck in ours.
