Marshall Islands Adoption?
Does anyone have information about adopting from the Marshall Islands? Particularly working with a lawyer located in Arizona by the name of Paul Peterson (please PM me with info relating specifically to this person). My cousins were considering this possibility as the fees were estimated at $15,000, but then she mentioned that the birthmothers were flown to the US to deliver. I'm not up on the adoption law changes since I've been "out of the loop" for the last five years, but that sends up MAJOR red flags to me???

Flying women here to give birth is Illegal.
There has been a LOT of press on just that - flying women from RMI to Hawaii to give birth and place. To my knowledge, only ONE agency is licensed to do international adoptions from RMI - thru the legal process set up by RMI several years ago. Ugh @ illegal practices
