DH and I are just looking into international adoption. We've done some IF treatments but we aren't interested in anything more invasive than what we've tried, so we feel ready to move on to adoption soon.

Anyways, we're both under the age of 25, which seems to be the magic number for many countries. So far, I've found that Kazakhstan, Russia, Taiwan, and Vietnam have no age requirements. Is this correct? Are there others I'm missing?

Ok, so an update here. Of the previous list I originally posted, it looks like Vietnam and Kaz are shut down for now. So that leaves Russia and Ukraine. I'm having an impossible time finding an agency that will take a couple under 25. I've contacted quite a few.

Does anyone know of any agencies that are okay with couples under 25? If so, pleaaaase PM me! I'm also open to any other countries people know of for young couples.

I'm afraid that you are mistaken. Under U.S. law, SINGLES must be 25 or older to bring an internationally adopted child into the U.S. There is no minimum age requirement for married couples.

I had this same concern at first too! Im am 23 but my husband is 35 and I was worried that we wouldnt be accepted because of my age. Right now Im looking into russia because it seems to be the most compatable for our traveling abilites. I have been told that its only singles that must be 25 but married couples can be under. I will be meeting with an agency tomarrow and I will confirm everything but I will let you know what I find out!
