California Home study provider??

I live in N. Calif. I am having trouble finding a HS provider. Any suggestions?

Go to the website of the Joint Council on International Children's Services. Point your mouse towards "Membership" at the top of the page, but do not click. A drop down box will appear. Click on "Membership Directory". Scroll down to a list of agencies in California. Save that list, then scroll down further to find the detailed alphabetical list of agencies with contact information, so that you can contact them.

Many of the agencies do both homestudies and international placements. In most cases, you can use an agency for your homestudy, even if you do not plan to use it for your placement. All of the agencies are licensed and nonprofit.

Also, be aware that some agencies located in other parts of California may have social workers in your area.

I also live in northern California and will PM you who I used. (I do not think they want us to list agency names in the forum?)
