|
looking for information on adopting from india
it will be at least another five years before my husband and i are ready/eligible to adopt from india, but i figure the earlier we start the better chance we'll have to save the funds and have a better experience all around.
at this point i'm just looking for personal experiences, information on specific agencies, general encouragement. thanks!

One of the best sources of info on adoption from India is the IChild Yahoo Group listserv.
But do remember that 5 years is a very long time from an adoption standpoint. Countries change their rules frequently. They even close and open regularly. So do keep apprised of what's going on in India adoption, but recognize that, when you are actually ready to adopt, you may need to consider other options. Sharon
