Georgia Secretary of State's office
I have a question that I am hoping someone on here can help me with. In a week or so, I will be taking some documents for my Dossier to the Sec. State's office in Atlanta to be authenticated.
Does anyone have any idea how much time I should allow once I get there? I need to know so I can figure on how to arrange my schedule. Thanks, Prechrchet |

Ga Sos
No, prechrchet is not refering to Apostilling. Those going to Russia have to have docs apostilled. Those going to China have to have them Certified by the Sec of State, which is simply getting the state seal applied.
I would also be interested in a response to the question posed, because in a couple of weeks I will be doing the same. Anyone out there who has hand delivered their docs to the GA Sec of States for certification, who can give us some insight? Thanks! |

My dh (prechrchet) just spoke to a friend who hand-delivered her documents to the Georgia SOS. She arrived at opening time, and it took her about 30 minutes. She said to not go around lunch time. (This is one person's experience, so it may not go as quickly for everyone.)
