is it possible to do international adoption if you're a single woman?
I am just starting to think about adoption and would be interested in an international adoption. Do they allow single women to adopt? I'm especially interested in adopting from Ukraine. I own a home and am finishing a career change to Speech-Language Pathology (so I'll have a steady income).

Yes
Single women can adopt from several different countries. You have to research the country that you are interested in and agencies that will support your efforts. I don't know about Ukraine specifically. I adopted as a single parent from Russia. Other countries that I considered were Guatamala, China, Bulgaria & Kazakstan. I am sure that there are others in South America, as well.

Most countries will work with single women. And most agencies are comfortable with single women. You should have no problem finding an option that will be right for you.
