independent adoption
Has anyone done international adoption independently? I am considering doing it in Ukraine. If you have gone independent please email me at carolyn_arnett@care2.com. I would really like to hear your opinion, advice, etc. Thanks!

independent international adoption
We have trying to figure out the same thing. Do you have to use a state licensed agency to help you? What about just using an attorney to help with the legal paperwork in the states? If you guys get any additional info, I'd appreciate it if you'd pass it along. I'm at danajacs@hotmail.com. Thanks in advance.

I don't know how helpful this is, but we have done an independent adoption from Haiti and are doing another right now... it isn't diffucult, just time consuming...it does tend to save a lot of money though! I know nothing about adoptions from the Ukraine, but if I can answer any general independent adoption questions let me know!
