Anyone adopt intl after previous domestic?
My husband and I adopted our son at birth here. He is now 4 1/2. We are finally ready to adopt again, but our open adoption arrangement only went so-so. So we're leaning towards international now, maybe Guatemala. Has anyone adopted both domestic and international? How has that worked out? What do you do when one child looks like you and the other doesn't, even if both are adopted? We're a bit scared that our second child will feel different because our son looks a lot like us.

I wouldn't make this a deciding factor. Even if you adopt domesticly your child may not look like you. I understand that the difference will be more obvious but you will just need to explain that along with the adoption story. I know many families with children that look "different" from eachother. They either have children from different countries, some adopted some not, or even blended youre mine and ours families.
