What to wear???
We are adopting in Russia. I am tall, and cannot find a nice pair of dress pants. In case it is a bit chilly, I did not want to wear a dress. Can anyone tell me if we would be showing disrespect if I wore a brand new pair of nice black jeans, if I had a nice herringbone jacket and such over them? The top side is no problem, lol, its just the pant length! I can dress it up also with a nice pair of black boots. Haws anyone seen anyone in court like this? Please help!

You might want to post this question in the Russian Adoption forum elsewhere on this site if you have not done so already. And don't forget you can wear warm things under a dress if need be...

Have you tried LLBean or Land's End, who make really nice pants in Tall and Extra Tall sizes? They have on-line outlets if the regular prices scare you off.
And I second Jim in PA- I grew up in a very cold part of the country and learned the art of layers, even under dresses. |
